Step 1: How to install/replace the battery
- Remove the battery cover.
- Insert 4 AA batteries into the battery compartment and then close the battery cover.
Step 2: Insert the air tube plug into the jack.
Step 3: How to wrap the cuff
- Roll up the shirt on the arm to be measured. Do not wrap the cuff over thick clothing.
- Put your arm into the cuff. The end of the cuff should be 1 - 2cm from the elbow. The marked part (arrow below the air tube) is located in the center of the inside of the arm.
- Stick the adhesive strip to secure the cuff.
Step 4: Measuring position
- You should measure in a quiet place, in a relaxed position, at a comfortable room temperature, not too hot or too cold. Do not bathe, drink alcohol or coffee, smoke, exercise or eat 30 minutes before measuring your blood pressure.
- Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
- Sit up straight.
- The cuff is positioned at the same level as the heart.
Step 5: How to measure blood pressure
- Press the Start/Stop key. The cuff will start to inflate automatically.
